Kehlani has released the official music video for her latest single “Out The Window,” which pays homage to old-school R&B videos from the late ’90s and early 2000s.
The Gabe Phoenix and Travis Colbert-directed clip opens with Kehlani walking up to a payphone to call someone, only for the person not to pick up. Later, Kehlani is shown dancing in the rain like Usher, whom they shared a photo of on their Instagram Stories after the video’s release.
“Out The Window” is the follow-up to Kehlani’s Grammy-nominated hit single “Folded,” which scored Kehlani her first top 10 on the Hot 100. Folded is nominated for Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song at the 2026 Grammy Awards. Both songs will be included on Kehlani’s upcoming 2026 album, which will serve as the follow-up to 2024’s CRASH, That album also scored a Grammy nomination for Best Progressive R&B Album, and its lead single, “After Hours” picked up a nod for Best R&B Song.
After dropping CRASH, Kehlani dropped her While We Wait 2 mixtape — the sequel to her 2019 project — which included features from Lucky Daye, kwn, DIXSON, Destin Conrad and more.
