As we know, as soon as the #MeToo project came about, we’ve been getting more people not scared to come forward to speak about experiences that they went through and more people who are actually facing their attacker. Hiphop figure, Dee Barnes, has been a familiar face within the industry since the late 80’s. She was recently on The Wendy Williams show expressing that she has been homeless and even set up a GoFundMe page so that she can have money to get back on her feet. During the appearance on Wendy’s show, relived her experience and she hinted to Wendy and the viewers that it was more than just an assault. In addition to Wendy donating $15,000, she also agreed to published Barnes tell-all book and producing it into a movie when she’s done.
