Big-Name Artist To Honor Prince and George Michael at Grammys

The 59th annual Grammys is set to air Sunday, February 12th and will have tributes for pop icons, Prince and George Micheal. Both artists died last year, Prince in April and George Micheal in December, therefore the Grammys’ academy said they are humbled to pay homage to their tremendous legacies. It has been announced that John Legend, Katy Perry, Metallica, Bruno Mars, Adele, and Beyonce will perform however no word on who exactly will honor the late artist has been determined. Also in a recent deal with Universal Music Group, Prince estate has granted the label licensing rights to Prince’s catalog of released and unreleased music. Beginning on Grammy night, a lot of Prince’s music will be available for streaming on all platforms. Currently, it has only been available on Jay-z’s streaming service, Tidal.
